Stay-at-home moms with wealthy partners have a reason to celebrate. Life for these glamourous stay-at-home moms (SAHMs) in Manhattan’s Upper East Side is likely much more fascinating than most people can imagine.
According to Wednesday Martin from the New York Times, “glam SAHMs” are women in their thirties who attended top-tier schools, married successful Wall Street professionals, and are now raising an average of 3.5 kids.
While they might appear similar to other moms you see at the park—cleaning up their kids or helping them with snacks—there is a notable difference. These moms, living in the upscale area between 63rd and 94th streets, are known for the concept of wife bonuses.
