Did you know that people’s choices in stock investments vary a lot based on their age? Apple is a popular option for investors of all ages, but preferences for other stocks vary quite a bit across different generations.
For example, Millennials, those aged 25 to 34, tend to favor newer tech and internet companies. According to TD Ameritrade, Facebook is their second most preferred stock pick.
In contrast, Baby Boomers, who are 65 or older, have different preferences. Unlike other age groups, they don’t pick Apple as their top choice. Instead, they prefer investing in companies like GE as their primary stock acquisition.
